Got “sandwiched” for the third time… I thought I saw a small arbitrage, and the moment I hit confirm, I felt someone was rubbing their hands in the background: squeezed from both sides, and my “opportunity” immediately turned into someone else’s fees plus tips. To put it plainly, with public on-chain information, if you run slow, you’re basically delivering food to other people. Now before I place an order, I check whether the mempool is congested; if I can split orders, I split them. Don’t get greedy about slippage—if necessary, I’d rather wait two more minutes to save on costs.

Recently, someone has been comparing RWA and US Treasury yield with on-chain yield products, and I just want to laugh: no matter how attractive the returns look, you first have to survive all these “sandwich” traps and the gas fees… Anyway, I’ll protect myself first and pay less “tuition.”
