I've been looking into HOT Wallet from NEAR lately, and honestly, if you're thinking about getting involved, now's probably a decent time since there's been no official exchange listing yet. The project caught my attention on Telegram because it actually helps you understand how crypto transfers work in a practical way, not just theory. NEAR itself is trading around $2.19 right now with a market cap of about $2.84B, and the HOT token is expected to have solid potential once it hits exchanges.

Setting up the wallet is pretty straightforward. You just hit up the HOT Wallet bot, create an account, and you get assigned a unique nickname that doubles as your blockchain address. Make sure you save that 12-word seed phrase—seriously, don't lose it or share it with anyone. If you prefer Russian or another language, you can switch it in the settings.

The actual hot mining part is what's interesting. Once your wallet's set up, you log in and claim your HOT tokens. At first, you'll need to check in every couple hours because your storage fills up quickly. Here's the catch though—each claim costs you 50% in transaction fees unless you top up with 1 NEAR (costs about $4 currently). Alternatively, you can do some simple missions first to get "Gas Free" status, which lets you collect without the fee hit.

To speed up your hot mining progress, you've got three main levers: completing missions for extra tokens, buying boosts with HOT to upgrade your storage and mining speed, and inviting friends for a small percentage cut. The Titanium Storage boost reduces how often you need to log in, while the Neon Multi-fireplace and Uranium Boxes increase your mining rate. There's also an option to download the mobile app or add NEAR/USDT to unlock more rewards.

The missions section has some easy tasks—watch videos, enter codes, get HOT. Stuff like learning about meme coins, blockchain, airdrops, and crypto swaps. It's actually decent if you want to understand the ecosystem better while earning. The whole setup feels like a legit way to get familiar with how crypto actually works without jumping straight into trading.
