Mars Finance News: On May 22, reports said that on May 21, users on multiple professional social platforms posted about layoffs at Tencent Docs. The user stated that Tencent Docs business would cancel its Beijing office location, and that all staff would be informed regarding resignation matters on 7.18. On the 22nd, an insider close to Tencent said that in the past, only a small number of Tencent Docs teams were based in Beijing, while most teams were in Shenzhen. To further focus on the AI business strategy and speed up coordination efficiency among AI product teams, the Tencent Docs team recently made adjustments to some regional workplace teams with Shenzhen as the core office location, and conducted thorough communication with employees affected by this adjustment. They also opened internal “vibrant talent flow” job-transfer opportunities in Shenzhen, Beijing, and other locations, and would solicit and respect employees’ personal willingness and choices.
