I noticed an interesting trend in the blockchain market. It turns out that when it comes to throughput, the leaders are not the ones usually mentioned. Solana still shows impressive results with 1054 TPS, but it is now being closely challenged by Sui with 854 TPS. That’s just a different level of performance.

The fastest blockchain is not just a nice number in marketing materials. It’s the real ability of the network to handle load. Next in the ranking are BSC with 378 TPS, Polygon with 190 TPS, and TON with 175 TPS. TRON stays at 160 TPS, Near shows 118 TPS, Avalanche at 89 TPS, Cronos at 72 TPS, and Gnosis rounds out the top 10 with 66 TPS.

Why does this matter? Because speed directly impacts usability. The higher the TPS, the fewer delays, and the more comfortable it is for users. And judging by current quotes, the market understands this. SOL is trading at around $86.98, SUI at $1.12, MATIC at $0.18, TON at $2.02, TRX at $0.36.

By the way, an interesting movement is happening in the AltLayer ecosystem. The project launched the second phase of its staking program with a new token, reALT — an ERC-20 token with automatic compounding. The idea is that when you stake ALT in the main pool, you receive reALT, which automatically accrues rewards. It’s a pretty good mechanism for passive income.

What has changed in the second phase? First, the old Xterio LaunchPool was replaced with a new pool based on reALT. Stakers can now exit and migrate directly. Second, the main ALT pool now allows instant withdrawal, but after the start of the second phase, a 21-day recovery period will be introduced. ALT is currently trading at around $0.01 with a daily growth of about 8%.

If you’re interested in staking and want to earn automatic rewards, this could be an interesting area to explore. On Gate, you can track the current quotes of all these assets and see which of the fastest blockchains is showing the best dynamics right now. The market clearly values speed and efficiency.
