Data: Trump Media's investment in BTC lost $455 million, still holding 6,889 Bitcoins
ME News Report, May 22 (UTC+8), according to EmberCN statistics, Trump Media & Technology Group (NASDAQ: DJT) raised funds last July-August by selling company stock and convertible bonds to purchase 11,542 BTC, worth up to $1.37B, with an average purchase price of $118,529. Earlier this year, it sold 2,000 BTC at an average price of $87,380, and transferred 2,650 BTC back to trading platforms, valued at $205 million. Trump Media currently has a loss of $455 million on its BTC investments and still holds 6,889 BTC, valued at $5.33 billion.
