ChatGPT Official PowerPoint Plugin Launches Beta Version, Office Suite Integration Takes Another Step Forward
OpenAI announces that the official ChatGPT for PowerPoint plugin has entered the beta testing phase, allowing users to create and modify presentations using natural language in the PowerPoint sidebar. The generated slides are fully editable, supporting rewriting titles, refining content, and integrating with services like Gmail, Outlook, SharePoint, and others to quickly generate report PPTs. Previously, OpenAI launched the ChatGPT for Excel plugin beta on March 5, 2026, and officially GA on May 5, supporting formula generation and table editing in the Excel sidebar. Currently, there is no Word plugin available; users can rely on Microsoft 365 Copilot or third-party GPT plugins.
