Today I finally paid close attention to the number symbols on the exchange, and I realized I’d been misunderstanding them this whole time. People always say 1B, 1T, but I was never sure what they actually meant. Turns out that 1B equals 1 billion—that is, 1 billion units of currency. This table helps me understand it better: 1K is 1 thousand, 1M is 1 million, 1E is 100 million, 1B is 1 billion, and 1T is thousands of billions as well. It’s only after a long time that I finally understood why, when traders were talking, I kept getting confused—it turned out I hadn’t really grasped these units. Now, when I look at the chart or read discussions, it’s much easier to understand.
