According to PeckShieldAlert disclosure, RetoSwap reported that it was attacked, and 7,000 XMR (approximately $2.7 million) of user funds were stolen. Previously, RetoSwap stated that Haveno chief developer woodser reported on May 20 at 2:31 (UTC) that the Haveno trading protocol was maliciously attacked; RetoSwap banned the attacker’s onion address at 2:33 (UTC) and paused trading, claiming that the team was not compromised, and the incident was due to a flaw in the Haveno protocol, with damages seemingly limited to large-scale cryptocurrency quotes, and fiat currency traders unaffected.
