I just reviewed a ranking of the 20 most important currencies in the world, and there are some interesting data points. Obviously, the Kuwaiti Dinar remains the strongest, followed by the Bahraini Dinar and the Omani Rial. These three always dominate the top 3, which is quite consistent.

Then come the Jordanian Dinar, the Cayman Islands dollar, the British Pound, and the Euro. The Swiss Franc is also high up, very solid. And well, the US dollar in the top 10 doesn't surprise anyone.

If you go further down the list of the 20 most important currencies, you'll find the Canadian dollar, Singapore dollar, Brunei dollar, Australian dollar, and New Zealand dollar. After that are the Bulgarian Lev, the Fijian dollar, and finally the Brazilian Real closing the top 20.

It's interesting to see how these currencies are distributed. It's not just about the economy; political stability and international reserves also play a role. The currencies of the Persian Gulf are brutal in value, but the Euro and the Pound remain global benchmarks. The ranking of the 20 most important currencies in the world quite accurately reflects the economic power of each region.
