Two men were arrested after entering Punch the monkey's enclosure at Ichikawa Zoo during a stunt linked to Memecoin's $1 million viral content contest. Memecoin's X account told members to respect local laws, said no monkey was harmed, and offered to donate 1 million yen to the zoo. Ichikawa Zoo filed a damage report and said it will expand restrictions, install nets, add patrol staff, and consider banning filming at the enclosure.
