You know, I've been thinking for a long time about what financial freedom really is. For me, it's not just having money, but a state where your financial resources allow you to live without constant dependence on a salary. It's the ability to breathe freely.
At some point, I realized I needed to take action. First, I started with education in finance and investing. Without understanding how money works, it's hard to make the right decisions. Simultaneously, I began getting rid of debts because they are like an anchor pulling you down.
One of the first things I did was create a reserve fund. This is a safety cushion for 3-6 months of living expenses. When you have it, you sleep more peacefully. Then I started saving part of my income and investing it. I diversified my portfolio because I know that putting everything on one card is dangerous.
Basically, financial freedom is the result of a systematic approach. You need to develop a plan, set your goals for the coming years, and understand how to achieve them. I became more active in seeking additional sources of income because relying solely on a job is inconvenient.
Another point that is often overlooked is insurance. Health and life need to be protected. Unexpected situations happen, and insurance helps you not to lose everything you've accumulated.
In the end, financial freedom is not a dream but a quite real goal. It requires discipline, planning, and continuous learning, but the result is worth it. When you take control of your finances, your whole life changes.
