I just came across Sahar Tabar and I have to say, this story is wild. The Iranian influencer was everywhere in the media years ago because she supposedly underwent 50 cosmetic surgeries to look like Angelina Jolie. The result looked more zombie-like, totally disturbing.
But here comes the plot twist – in the end, it was just retouching and makeup! Sahar Tabar today is much less dramatic than all the headlines suggested back then. This once again shows how quickly such internet stories can get out of control and how much Photoshop and good lighting can make a difference.
Somehow absurd how much the media hyped it up. It makes me curious about how many other stories are only half true.
