You know, I just came across a story about Kimbal Musk — it turns out Elon’s brother is also an interesting character. He’s 52 years old and clearly disagrees with Trump’s policies, despite his brother being somehow connected to that environment. He wrote directly on X about tariffs and taxes on consumers. At the same time, the guy owns a fortune of $700 million, mainly thanks to Tesla shares.
It’s funny that both brothers are from Pretoria, look alike, but Kimbal always wears a cowboy hat — that’s his thing. Together with his sister Tosca, they went through a tough childhood; their parents divorced back in ’79. Then the family moved to Canada and the US. And both brothers together created Zip2 — software for online business, which they sold for $307 million to Compaq in 1999.
It’s interesting that despite all their political disagreements, Elon Musk’s brother clearly loves him and the family. Just different views on the world, but blood is blood, as they say.
