Surely, everyone in crypto has heard of strange words that only those "living" in the market understand. Today, I want to introduce you to some of the most common slang, especially what copium is, because it’s a term that anyone who has experienced losses must know.

Starting with Hopium first. This is a combination of "hope" and "opium," describing an unfounded optimistic state when you believe an anonymous altcoin will be the next Bitcoin. You know, like "This coin will definitely 100x" even though there’s no supporting evidence for that view. Hopium is the feeling that every trader goes through.

But when reality hits you? That’s when Copium appears. What exactly is copium? It’s a portmanteau of "cope" and "opium," referring to the search for reasons to comfort yourself when your investment has failed. "It’s okay, I’ll hold it, it will go up" — that’s copium. It’s how you deceive yourself when the market doesn’t go as expected.

Then there are Diamond Hands and Paper Hands. People with Diamond Hands are those who hold assets despite market volatility. And Paper Hands? They sell immediately when prices dip slightly, out of fear. This difference determines who will profit and who will only regret.

BTFD is another term. An abbreviation of "Buy The F***ing Dip," meaning when the price drops, you buy more instead of selling. It’s the mindset of those who believe in the long-term future of an asset.

There are two types of people in crypto: Permabulls, who are always optimistic and see buying opportunities everywhere. Permabears, on the other hand, always expect the market to crash. Both are often driven more by emotion than logic.

WAGMI — "We’re All Going to Make It" — is a phrase expressing community solidarity. It’s how people motivate each other, even when everything looks bleak. It’s the belief that, in the end, anyone can find success in crypto.

Pumpamentals is a sarcastic term. It refers to assets (usually memecoins) that have no real value, only being "pumped" up by speculation and hype. They lack fundamentals, only experiencing pump (price increase).

Finally, Safu — an alternative spelling of "safe." Projects often use this term to assure investors of reliability. "Funds are safu" — that’s a common phrase.

In fact, there are many other crypto terms, but the ones above are what you need to understand the community. Remember to always do thorough research, don’t rely solely on Hopium or Copium to make decisions. WAGMI!
