I was looking at the top 10 richest people in January 2025 and I became curious about the strangest thing: how many of them have an declared religion and how many do not. Like, Elon Musk at the top with 421 billion is an atheist, then Jeff Bezos with 233 billion, raised Catholic but Christian. Interestingly, Bezos is not Jewish, but it's curious to see that among the top 10 there are quite a few Jews: Ellison with 209 billion, Zuckerberg with 202, Brin with 149. In short, a nice variety of atheists, Christians, and other religions. Warren Buffett is Presbyterian with 141 billion, Steve Ballmer Protestant with 124. And then Jensen Huang of Nvidia with 117 billion, who basically keeps his religion private. What strikes me is that wealth has nothing to do with faith, but it's still interesting to see how these people publicly identify. What do you think, does this analysis make sense?
