Just noticed something interesting - Hong Kong ADRs are taking a beating compared to the local market today. HSBC, AIA, and the exchanges are all down over 1% against their Hong Kong closes, which is a pretty noticeable gap. Tencent and Alibaba are even worse, off nearly 2% each.

When the local market close shows strength but the ADRs are lagging like this, you gotta wonder what's driving the disconnect. Could be US-side selling pressure or just typical ADR volatility, but worth keeping an eye on if you're holding either side of the trade. The spreads between local and ADR prices don't usually get this wide without a reason.
