Just looked into something pretty interesting about UK Prime Ministers and their wealth trajectory over their careers. The numbers are honestly wild when you see the before and after.

So you've got figures like Churchill going from 10M to 15M, which is solid growth but nothing crazy compared to some others. But then you look at someone like Tony Blair jumping from 1M to 70M - that's the kind of wealth accumulation that makes you do a double take. Margaret Thatcher similarly went from 10M to 60M during her tenure.

What's fascinating is how varied these patterns are. Gordon Brown's net worth trajectory shows a more modest climb from 2M to 5M, which is interesting when you compare it to the dramatic rises we saw with Blair or Cameron. Speaking of Cameron, he started already wealthy at 50M and ended up at 70M.

Then there's the outlier - Rishi Sunak sitting at 900M+ throughout, which is just on another level entirely compared to most of his predecessors.

The wealth changes really tell you something about how different premierships and post-office activities shape financial outcomes. Some of these figures are pretty eye-opening when you think about the gap between entering office and leaving it. Definitely worth digging deeper into how these fortunes actually accumulated - whether it's business ventures, book deals, speaking fees, or just existing wealth.
