Just realized U.S. markets go dark for Thanksgiving on November 27 - pretty wild if you're used to 24/7 crypto trading. Stock and bond markets are completely closed that day, but here's where it gets interesting with the Thanksgiving trading hours situation.

CME's handling it differently depending on what you're trading. Precious metals and oil futures wrap up early at 03:30 UTC+8, while stock index futures close even earlier at 02:00 UTC+8. ICE's also cutting Brent crude short at 02:30 UTC+8. So basically, if you're into traditional futures during Thanksgiving, you're looking at reduced Thanksgiving trading hours that day.

Markets come back November 28 but with an early close again - not a full trading day. Honestly this holiday schedule always throws people off. Anyone else caught off guard by these Thanksgiving market closure times?
