Noticed an interesting update from Arkham Intelligence analysts — they added a complete list of suspected Bitcoin creator addresses directly on their platform. It turns out that Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet contains approximately 1,096,354 BTC, which at current prices amounts to about $108.8 billion.
This sounds crazy, but according to calculations, Satoshi would be the 14th richest person on the planet — ahead of Michael Dell, Bill Gates, and others. At the same time, his wealth accounts for 5.22% of all Bitcoin ever mined. Such is his weight in the history of cryptocurrencies.
All this information is based on research by Sergio Demian Lerner, which he published back in 2013 under the name Patoshi Pattern. The essence is that Satoshi left a unique pattern in the blocks he mined, and this pattern can be used to identify approximately 22,000 of his addresses. Arkham Intelligence used this data to create their database.
The funniest part is that the last activity from these addresses was recorded in July 2010. Almost 15 years ago, when Bitcoin was worth almost nothing. Since then, Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet has just been sitting silent.
Throughout all this time, Satoshi has made only 13 transactions. The first and most famous — sending 10 BTC to Hal Finney. Another 10 BTC was received from Mike Hearn. And one more large transaction of 500 BTC to an untraceable address. The rest of the time, he was just mining.
No one still knows if the Bitcoin creator has other wallets or if he moves his coins from somewhere else. But there is no evidence of that. So, Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet remains one of the biggest mysteries in crypto history — a huge amount of coins that no one has touched for over a decade.
