Just came across some interesting XRP holder distribution data that really puts things in perspective. Turns out you don't need nearly as much as people think to be among the top holders. To get into the top 1%, you only need around 50,637 XRP, which honestly surprised me. And if you want to crack the top 10%, a mere 2,486 XRP does the trick.

The concentration is pretty wild when you look at it. The top 0.01% are sitting on at least 5.7 million XRP each, while top 0.1% holders have 369,080 or more. But here's what caught my attention: even modest positions put you way ahead of most accounts in the ecosystem. Top 2% needs just 25,639 XRP. This shows how many XRP holders there actually are and how spread out the ownership really is.

What's interesting is how this changes the narrative around XRP holdings. A lot of people think you need hundreds of thousands of tokens to matter, but the data suggests otherwise. Even relatively small allocations can give you meaningful exposure. For anyone thinking about XRP's role in global settlement infrastructure, these numbers make it look pretty accessible for early positioning without requiring massive capital. The distribution really does suggest there's still room for people to build positions at various levels.
