I turned off a bunch of "social mining/fan token" notifications in my browser, it was too noisy. Attention can indeed be exchanged for some things, but frankly, the first thing to be mined is often your judgment.

Don't overcomplicate the wallet thing: if your assets aren't large and your operation frequency is high, a hardware wallet is enough; first, make sure your private keys are kept offline; if you have enough money to start feeling uneasy, multi-signature should come into play, it's more troublesome but can prevent "single point of failure"; when you really want to leave a backup for your family and are worried about losing the paper note someday, social recovery is quite suitable, but only if you trust those few people who can help you recover, relationships are more difficult than technology.

Right now, I myself: small hot wallets as change, large amounts kept cold, multi-signature gradually refining the process... Anyway, I’d rather go through some trouble once than regret on the chain for a lifetime.
