Here's an interesting thing — it turns out that the most expensive currency in the world and the most powerful passport are not from the same country at all. I came across a recent ranking and was surprised.

First, about money. Kuwaiti Dinar 🇰🇼 — now that's impressive, it’s truly the most expensive currency, followed by Bahraini Dinar 🇧🇭 and Omani Rial 🇴🇲. All these are Arab countries rich in oil. Then Europeans — British Pound Sterling 🇬🇧, Swiss Franc 🇨🇭, Euro 🇪🇺. Interestingly, although the US dollar is used everywhere, it’s not even in the top 10 in terms of value.

But with passports, it’s a completely different story. Singapore 🇸🇬, South Korea 🇰🇷, and Japan 🇯🇵 — they lead in visa-free access. Europeans are also strong: Germans, French, Italians, Spaniards 🇩🇪🇫🇷🇮🇹🇪🇸. Plus Scandinavians and Britons.

It turns out that a country’s wealth and the strength of its passport are two different stories. Kuwait is wealthy, but its passport isn’t that strong. But Singapore — now that’s impressive, both the currency is respected, and the passport is in the top tier. It’s all quite interesting how this all works.
