Just read that Turkish authorities have frozen over 500 million dollars in assets. The man behind it is Veysel Şahin, who is accused of illegal gambling operations and money laundering. What's interesting is: Tether has blocked Veysel Şahin's accounts at the authorities' request. This once again shows how close cooperation between crypto platforms and authorities has become. Bloomberg was the first to report on this. I find it crazy how quickly something like this can happen – first the investigation, then the immediate blockade. Will this become a trend?
