I used to be very afraid of trouble, willing to go on the mainnet just to get it over with, but as a result, a single mint/transfer gas fee would scare me off several times... Now I’m more relaxed: everyday small interactions, browsing exhibitions, buying some small NFTs mostly on L2, saving money and doing it conveniently; if I really need to handle more important assets, or if I don’t understand the contract / the bridging routes are too complicated, I’d rather go back to the mainnet, slower and more expensive, at least I feel more secure.

Basically, I separate “experience” and “sense of security”: L2 for daily commuting, mainnet as a safe deposit box. And don’t get distracted by attention—recently, when memes or celebrities shout, the chain gets as busy as a market, I just close the page when I see gas prices spike... That old player’s advice “don’t take the last step” is still pretty useful. That’s it for now, taking it slow.
