I recently saw an interesting debate about UFO sightings and the question of aliens, and I must say that Elon Musk raised some really valid points on the matter.

Musk claims on Twitter that we currently have no concrete evidence of extraterrestrial visits to our planet. And honestly, his reasoning is hard to dispute: if billions of people own smartphones with high-resolution cameras, why are the only videos circulating on YouTube showing UFOs that are completely blurry and unconvincing? It’s a legitimate question.

Of course, conspiracy theory supporters remain convinced that authorities are hiding the truth from us and that we are on the verge of a major discovery regarding extraterrestrial civilizations. But there are also scientific reasons to be skeptical. The distances between planetary systems are enormous – it would be extremely difficult for an alien ship to reach Earth with a crew still alive.

And here’s the interesting part: even Edward Snowden, who had access to classified information from the CIA, NSA, and military, admitted in an interview with Joe Rogan that he found no convincing evidence of aliens on Earth. But he also said something intriguing – he acknowledged that “there’s probably something unexplainable” out there.

Now, the Pentagon has actually released documents and videos regarding encounters between pilots and UFOs, and the agency recognizes that these objects could have an extraterrestrial origin. This complicates the picture a bit. Meanwhile, astronomers have scanned millions of stars searching for signs of intelligent life, and so far, they haven’t found anything concrete.

So, while Elon Musk and skeptics raise legitimate doubts, the absence of proof doesn’t mean that nothing strange is happening. It remains one of the most fascinating mysteries of our time, and we will probably have to wait longer to uncover the truth.
