I just thought about it: How much does Elon Musk actually earn per second? The numbers are simply absurd. When you look at his wealth in 2024 – back then it was nearly $429 billion – it calculates in a way that’s hard to imagine.

Per second, we’re talking about roughly $3,708. For many people, that’s more than a whole month’s salary. Crazy, right? And if you extrapolate that: per minute, it’s over $222,500. That’s the price of a nice villa in many countries – earned in 60 seconds.

Per hour, it amounts to about $13.35 million. With that money, you could buy a private jet and still have money left over. Daily, it’s a wealth increase of $320.5 million. That’s the budget of some smaller countries. And in a week? Over $2.24 billion. That’s the budget of major film productions.

The craziest part is the comparison: what ordinary people earn in a month, Musk makes in a single second. What others save in their entire lives, he earns in a week. The scale is simply incomprehensible.

The main reasons are pretty clear – Tesla’s stock performs strongly, and his future projects like AI and space travel with SpaceX continue to push his wealth upward. But when you really realize how much Elon Musk earns per second, it becomes clear what kind of different world these people live in. It’s interesting to observe how quickly such wealth in this scale develops.
