CFTC and NHL Sign Integrity MoU for Hockey Prediction Contracts

The CFTC and the NHL signed a memorandum of understanding on Thursday to share information and protect the integrity of professional hockey and related event contracts. Gary Bettman said the agreement adds to the NHL's existing integrity monitoring systems and strengthens risk detection. The move follows a March MoU with Major League Baseball. It also comes after the CFTC scrapped a prior proposal that would have restricted several types of event contracts.
