I have just summarized the trading hours you should know when monitoring the forex market. The US session's timing in Vietnam time is a question I get quite often, so today I will explain it clearly.

In fact, the US session's start time depends on the season. In summer, the US session begins at 19:00 in the evening and lasts until 04:00 the next morning Vietnam time. In winter, it starts a bit later, from 20:00 in the evening to 05:00 in the morning. Additionally, the European (London) session starts earlier, at 14:00 in summer and 15:00 in winter.

But the most important thing is which time frame actually experiences significant volatility. I notice that from 19:00 to 23:00 (Vietnam time) is when the market is most active because the European and US sessions overlap. During this time, liquidity is high, important economic news is continuously released, and prices fluctuate strongly. Also, early European session around 14:00-15:00 tends to have quite a bit of movement, and when the US session opens (19:00-20:00), there are often US economic reports that directly impact USD-related currency pairs.

If you want to trade effectively, you should pay attention to these time frames to seize opportunities or better manage risks. The exact US session hours vary by season, but just remember that 19:00-23:00 is the golden time to monitor.
