Recently, the debate over whether to pay royalties in the secondary market has flared up again, and I’ve become a bit more calm: frankly, royalties are not a moral issue, they are an incentive issue. Not paying, how do creators continue to produce content / release series; paying too rigidly, and you trap liquidity, eventually everyone ends up waiting for others to foot the bill.

Today’s discussion in the group was quite honest, on one hand supporting creators, on the other hand calculating slippage and transaction fees... I won’t pretend, I also hesitate when placing my own orders. What’s more subtle is that now the screen is full of testnet incentives, points expectations, everyone is guessing whether the mainnet will issue tokens. When the “grab some first and talk later” mentality kicks in, who’s willing to spend more on long-term narratives? Anyway, I’ll keep watching how large transactions on the chain move, don’t get carried away by slogans, if you misjudge, just treat it as paying tuition.
