I have thought a lot about Bitcoin's projection over the next 10 years and I would like to share what I have discovered. Ten years ago, I used CAGR to estimate that BTC would reach $100k - and surprisingly, it didn't turn out as badly as the prediction. Now, with BTC currently at $77.23k (after touching $126k), I am trying again with the same method for the period 2025-2035.
Base scenario: if Bitcoin maintains a CAGR of 40% (based on global adoption and network activity), in 10 years the multiplier would be about 28x. This would bring the price to around $3.3 million per coin - but of course, this is a very optimistic scenario. The conservative scenario with 30% CAGR suggests about $1.3 million. The aggressive one at 50% CAGR? We could see $6.7 million. These are strong numbers, but remember that past crypto crashes have taught us that nothing is guaranteed.
Now, how to actually profit in this environment? Many think it's easy, but honestly, 90% of people here end up losing. Only 10% manage to make real money. The secret isn't risking everything at once - it's the technique of the moving position. Divide your capital into parts, keep a stable core position, and use the rest to buy low and sell high. If you start with 30k USDT, split it into three tranches of 10k. When you profit, withdraw a part. When you lose, add cautiously. Increase the position only after doubling the capital.
For trendlines: draw them using fluctuation points (at least three to validate). An upward trendline touches increasing lows, a downward trendline touches decreasing highs. Enter only when the price closes beyond the line - not at the first touch, because false breakouts are common. Stop-loss below the fluctuation low, first target at the starting point of the line, second target at the 161% Fibonacci level.
But listen - trading contracts is literally a gamble. 50% of people here play with perpetuals and most lose everything. If you do spot trading in a bull market, 60% make profits, but only those who endure the entire cycle really win. You need crazy patience and even crazier discipline. Reduce trading frequency, implement strict stop-losses, don't let small losses get out of control.
The reality? If you can successfully rollover positions 3-4 times in your life, you can go from zero to millions. But this requires waiting for the right opportunities - when the price crashes, consolidates sideways, then explodes upward. Don't rollover every week. Be patient. Wait for certainty.
In such a volatile market, 70% of people deposit money and never withdraw it. 80% remain trapped by the wealth effect and can't detach. As for me? I still believe BTC will hit $1 million, but it's not a shortcut. It's a long mental game. If you're still lost, start here: reduce transactions, set stop-losses, and don't dream of getting rich tomorrow.
