So I've been digging into investment podcasts lately and stumbled on some solid ones that actually know what they're talking about. Not the usual fluff you find everywhere. These best investing podcasts 2021 recommendations have been pretty eye-opening honestly.
Started with Capital Allocators - the host Ted Seides has serious credentials, Harvard MBA and ran a hedge fund for years. The conversations with fund managers are legit interesting, not your typical surface-level stuff. Then checked out Sound Investing with Paul Merriman. Guy's been around the investment world forever and doesn't waste time on BS, just solid retirement and wealth building advice.
Animal Spirits caught my attention because Michael Batnick and Ben Carlson from Ritholz actually make market analysis engaging. They bring on real guests and break down investing strategies in a way that doesn't put you to sleep. If you're into value investing specifically, Value Investing with Legends from Columbia Business School is worth your time - they really dig into the Graham and Dodd principles.
The MoneyTree Investing Podcast covers way more ground than I expected - everything from day trading to private mortgages to behavioral finance. Best investing podcasts 2021 honestly had more variety than I realized. Financial Decoder is another Schwab production, focuses on how your psychology messes with your investment decisions, which is actually pretty important. And The Meb Faber Show rounds it out - Meb's got experience across equities, bonds, commodities, real estate, the whole range.
I've been cycling through these best investing podcasts 2021 recommendations for a few weeks now and honestly they've shifted how I think about portfolio construction. Not saying they'll make you rich overnight but if you're serious about improving your investment game, these are worth adding to your rotation. Anyone else listening to any of these or have other recommendations?
