The Avalanche Foundation has established an independent selection committee for its "Research Call for Proposals" program.
The Avalanche Foundation announced the establishment of an independent selection committee for the research grant program, consisting of members including Ava Labs founder and CEO Emin Gün Sirer, Foundation Chief Investment Officer Matias A., Chief Economist Eric Lu, as well as external academic experts such as Duke University’s Campbell Harvey, University of Florida’s Fahad Saleh, and Columbia University’s Agostino Capponi. The grant program is now open for applications, focusing on crypto asset pricing and valuation, validator economics and network security. Proposals will be evaluated based on five criteria: relevance, methodology, innovation, feasibility, and team qualifications.
