Huntington's book is worth reading!

Core idea of the Clash of Civilizations: In the post-Cold War world, the main source of conflict is no longer ideology or economics, but cultural and religious differences. The core of global politics will be the clash between "Western civilization" and "non-Western civilizations" (such as Islamic, Chinese civilizations, etc.).
Representative work: "The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order" (1996)
Basic logic: Huntington (Fukuyama's former mentor) believes that the Cold War masked ancient cultural identities. As globalization advances, people around the world are re-examining their cultural roots, which will cause the fault lines between different civilizations to evolve into frontlines of conflict.
