Recently, I've seen people watching whale addresses and copying trades again... I now basically ask myself: Is this person gradually building a position, or are they hedging/rearranging their holdings? To put it simply, even big players are afraid of retracements. On-chain actions like "buying and selling back and forth" sometimes look more like opening an umbrella rather than rushing out into the rain.
Lately, there's been talk about increasing taxes and compliance in certain regions, with regulations tightening and loosening intermittently. As deposit and withdrawal expectations change, whales prefer to hedge and adjust their positions. The big moves in the charts might look dramatic, but don’t let your mindset be misled.
I'll use the example of growing succulents: seeing it repot suddenly doesn’t mean it’s going to grow wildly. It might just be to prevent root rot and stabilize the environment... Anyway, I still prefer to layer my entries slowly. I’d rather miss out on some opportunities than chase others’ moves. That’s all for now.
