Reuters, citing sources, reported that Iran's Supreme Leader Muqtada has issued a directive requiring that the country's enriched uranium stockpile not be exported abroad.


"The directive from the Supreme Leader and the internal consensus within the authorities is that the enriched uranium stockpile should not be transferred out of Iran," said two Iranian sources. "Iranian senior officials believe that transporting nuclear material abroad would make Iran more vulnerable to attacks from the United States and Israel in the future."
