Mars Finance News: On May 21, the global brand and entertainment platform Authentic Brands Group announced that it has reached an acquisition agreement with Kontoor Brands, Inc. to acquire the denim brand Lee. The acquisition, including regulatory approvals and other procedures, is expected to be completed in the second half of 2026. Currently, Lee's annual retail sales are approximately $1.5 billion, with nearly 40% coming from regions outside North America. In the past five years, Authentic Brands Group has also acquired several fashion and sports brands such as Reebok, Champion, Hunter, and Forever 21. (Consumer Research Institute)
