Standard Chartered forecast $4 trillion in tokenized assets on-chain by end-2028, with stablecoins and real-world assets each accounting for about half. Geoff Kendrick said that scale could make DeFi the native back-end for tokenized capital because the same on-chain position can earn yield, serve as collateral, and remain tradable.
