These days, the group is again sharing screenshots of stablecoins being regulated, reserve audits being opaque, and people wanting to depeg, and as soon as emotions rise, everyone wants to immediately exchange everything. But I see on the blockchain that I want to remind myself: don’t rush with cross-chain bridges. Multi-signature, in simple terms, means “a few people agree to move funds,” whether the signers are reliable or if there’s a risk of a coordinated attack, is more important than how pretty it looks on the bridge; the same goes for oracles—if the price feed or message feed is chaotic, the bridge on the other side is likely to follow suit. The most useful thing is actually “waiting for confirmation”—waiting for a few more blocks, looking at a slight delay, don’t take “speed” as default safety. My roommate also complained that I’m transferring money like I’m waiting for a food delivery cooling-off period… Forget it, slow down if you need to, one big incident with a bridge is enough to remember for a long time.
