Today, on-chain data is "lagging again," at first I thought it was my internet connection... but then I realized it's probably the indexer/Subgraph chasing blocks, or RPC rate limiting. To put it simply, what you're seeing isn't the chain itself being "slow," but the people handling the data transfer and organization are too busy, and the nodes don't want you to mine them to the point of smoke, so they queue you.

Recently, Layer 2 comparisons of TPS, fees, and subsidies have been quite lively, but in actual experience, moments of "no response when clicking" affect the mood more. Anyway, my current approach is to click a few times at low frequency, rather than refreshing wildly when the market fluctuates, to avoid anxiety and overloading the RPC... a bit slower is also good, sleep well.
