As a short-term trader, I prefer new themes the most. There's a saying: "Create new, not old." The emergence of new themes is a new opportunity, so how to get involved is very important.
1. First is scale. Scale represents the most intuitive number for this theme, for example, the Tibet sector a while ago had a scale of 1.2 trillion, which is quite shocking. The size of the scale determines whether there is sustainability.
2. Next is strength. If the theme fermented the night before or over the weekend, you need to look at the top orders. If the top orders are just a few large single orders, including some on the ChiNext, then the theme is particularly strong. As someone at the front, you can't get in, so you need to look at stocks in the back rows or those with a position. When the Tibet sector was fermenting, I invested in Beihua Shares and made 20%. Stocks with a position are more recognizable than those in the back rows, and the probability of rising the next day is higher!
3. Influence. When the stablecoin theme emerged in June, its influence was global, including companies listed on the US stock market. The influence and discussion were quite extensive, and since stablecoins have financial attributes, the index broke through that month. So I invested in Dongxin Peace and Jinsi Technology, combining theme and strategy.
4. Position. If the theme ferments on the same day, you should always pay attention to stocks hitting the daily limit on the main board and ChiNext, check their relevance, and immediately look for stocks that hit the limit yesterday. Having an extra position increases recognition. When big orders ignite the market, follow in. If you profit that day, there will still be premiums the next day.
5. If it doesn't meet expectations, there's a saying: "Anything you can buy is a trap," especially for themes that fermented strongly the night before but didn't open with a single limit the next day. At this point, there's no need to pursue that theme.
For new themes, try to participate on the same day; premiums tend to be higher the next day.
