I’ve started keeping track of whether I conveniently revoke contract permissions after each on-chain operation. It really feels like turning off the gas before bed: not doing it might not cause problems, but if something happens, it’s really embarrassing. In the past, I gave unlimited permissions for convenience, thinking I’d use them normally, but the more I used, the more permissions I granted. When new L1/L2 incentives came out and everyone was rushing for TVL, I also got caught up and started mining a few. Later, I saw veteran users complaining about “mining and selling,” and I suddenly realized I couldn’t even remember who I had granted permissions to… The biggest change after recording this is that my mindset has stabilized: I can wait for opportunities during withdrawals, but dragging out permission issues makes it hard to sleep peacefully at night. Anyway, I now prefer to revoke permissions a couple more times rather than wake up one day to find my wallet used as an ATM.
