These days, I’ve been seeing more debates about “re-staking/sharing security/interest stacking,” and the more I look, the more I feel I should slow down. Hot topics change too quickly, and once your attention is pulled away, it’s easy to get itchy: sharing reposts, opening positions, adding leverage—basically giving others traffic and exit opportunities.

My current clumsy approach is: wait a bit longer before making decisions. First, ask myself three questions: Who’s real need does this actually solve? Would anyone use it without subsidies? Can I explain its risks (especially those “nested” stacking) in plain language? If I can’t answer, I’ll turn it off first, then check the on-chain activity of real users and L2 engagement—at least that noise is lower. Anyway, missing out on one wave won’t kill you; getting repeatedly liquidated is the worst.
