Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 21, According to Bloomberg, Manus' co-founders are exploring multiple options to satisfy Beijing's demand to revoke Meta Platforms Inc.'s acquisition of the company, including raising approximately $1 billion from external investors to buy back this Chinese-founded AI company.

Sources familiar with the matter say that the three founders of Manus are discussing a funding round, with a valuation at least matching the $2 billion paid by Meta, and the founders may also contribute their own funds to complete the remaining part of the deal. If this plan proceeds, the next step could be establishing a Chinese joint venture with the relevant investors before moving forward with a Hong Kong IPO.
