Beginner wants to see if a project is "trustworthy or not," I think it's better not to focus on K-line charts first, but to check GitHub and audit reports, even if you can't understand the code, you can get a sense: whether recent commits are missing, if issues are being responded to, whether upgrade records clearly state what was changed. Don't just look at the cover logo of the audit report, focus on the pages that mention "unresolved/known risks," many pitfalls are written there but everyone acts like they didn't see.

Also, regarding multi-signature upgrades, I would prioritize looking at: who can sign, what the threshold is, whether there is a timelock (giving you time to escape). Multi-signature is like a door lock and a keychain; if the keys are too centralized, no matter how fancy it looks, it's useless.

By the way, recently large transfers on-chain and movements of exchange hot and cold wallets are being called "smart money," I just take it as weather forecast for now. If you really want to follow the trend, first understand the contract permissions and upgrade interfaces, otherwise, after slippage + MEV, the review will only be embarrassing.
