Alphabet invests $15 billion to build a new data center in Missouri

Google's parent company Alphabet announced an investment of $15 billion to build a new data center in New Florence, Missouri, USA. As artificial intelligence drives the continuous surge in cloud and computing power demand, this project has become one of the largest technology infrastructure projects in the state. Google has signed contracts in Missouri to add over 1 billion watts of new power generation capacity and has partnered with utility company Ameren to support the deployment of over 500 million watts of supporting electricity capacity.
