Market Analysis: Federal Reserve officials note that the labor market was more stable in April
Market analysts say that improvements in the labor market support the Federal Reserve's outlook for a tightening stance.
In the March meeting, employment data was weak, and some officials worried that the labor market was vulnerable to shocks;
but the April meeting minutes showed officials were more optimistic about the March data, viewing it as evidence of stabilization.
Subsequently, the strong April employment report further confirmed that the labor market may be stabilizing.
