The big stick of AI regulation has finally come around to the United States itself.

May 21 News, according to reports, the White House National Cyber Director's Office held a briefing on the 19th for artificial intelligence companies, introducing a planned AI executive order that will authorize intelligence agencies and other government agencies to review advanced models before their release. Companies attending the briefing included OpenAI, Anthropic, and Reflection AI. It is expected that Trump will sign the order as early as the 21st.
