Today's spot prices for eggs are steady but slightly weaker.

Abstract generation in progress
The nationwide laying hen stock continues to decline slightly, with older hens being phased out in an orderly manner and new hens starting production at a slower pace. The circulation links mainly replenish stock as needed, and downstream buyers maintain a steady purchasing attitude, with no signs of concentrated hoarding behavior. Stocks across all links remain at low levels, and traders' urgent replenishment intentions are stable, providing a floor support for egg prices. As the tight supply of egg sources eases and the impact of hot and humid weather gradually increases, the risk of egg prices falling back rises. It is expected that recent egg prices may fluctuate and decline. Today, the average price of eggs in main production areas is 8.70 yuan per kilogram in Shandong, unchanged from yesterday; the average price in Hebei is 8.55 yuan per kilogram, down 0.04 from yesterday; the average price in Guangdong is 9.47 yuan per kilogram, down 0.20 from yesterday; and in Beijing, the average price is 9.04 yuan per kilogram, unchanged from yesterday.
