Today, the funding rate has become a bit extreme again, and the group started shouting "push the opposing side!" My first reaction was actually to take my hands off the keyboard... To put it simply, the more outrageous the rate, the more consistent the emotions, and the more it feels like they’re forcing you to make a decision. If I had to choose, what I usually do is: small positions test the other side, large positions avoid volatility, don’t fight yourself.

Especially recently, after incidents like cross-chain bridge thefts and oracle misquotations, everyone suddenly learned to "wait for confirmation." It’s quite real; even if the chain is lively, it doesn’t bother me this time. Anyway, I’d rather miss out now than become fuel during extreme rates + chaotic news... As for whether you prefer to go against the trend or just lie flat and wait for it to cool down? I won’t say for sure yet.
