Recently, there’s been a surge of social mining, points, and badges. As I keep browsing, I feel like I’m clocking in at work… Honestly, attention is also a cost; don’t treat time as free electricity. I also looked into the fan token scene; it’s lively indeed, but whether “attention equals mining” is ultimately a false proposition. I think, at least for someone like me who engages infrequently, it’s a bit like exchanging effort for an uncertain lottery.

I’ve now set a rule: if I can easily claim it, I will; if it requires daily interaction, inviting people, or completing tasks, I’ll pass. I’d rather spend that time on staking and reviewing validator penalty rules, earning slowly but sleeping peacefully. Don’t drain your life for a single identity; it’s too exhausting, I really can’t handle it.
